We will be able to legalize your home as long as it meets a series of requirements, especially that it complies with the town planning regulations of the municipality and the Technical Building Code (CTE).
The Spanish Penal Code, in its article 319, imposes prison sentences from 1 to 3 years and a fine of 12 to 24 months to those persons who carry out unauthorized construction of a house on undeveloped land.
You may even be forced to demolish your own construction and restore the land to its natural state, so it is not advisable to have your house in this situation.
